현대 N74 수소 슈퍼카, 2026년 출시 예정

Recent reports from South Korea suggest that the long-awaited Hyundai N74 hydrogen supercar is nearing its debut. Based on the striking N Vision 74 concept vehicle, it features an innovative hydrogen fuel cell powertrain expected to redefine the supercar segment.​​

Supplier involvement has been confirmed, indicating smooth progress in the development process, with components for test vehicles anticipated to be completed within the coming months. The N Vision 74 concept, first unveiled in 2022, draws inspiration from Hyundai’s 1974 classic Pony Coupe, blending retro design with futuristic technology.

The concept model demonstrated a hydrogen fuel cell system capable of delivering 500 kW and 900 Nm to the rear wheels, distinguishing it from the all-wheel-drive electric supercars currently dominating the market. If the production version stays true to this vision, it will represent a remarkable achievement in merging classic aesthetics with cutting-edge technology.

Hyundai is set to increase power output beyond the original 500 kW, signaling plans to push test vehicles to their performance limits. These prototypes are essential for fine-tuning dynamics and ensuring they meet the high standards set by the concept.

The N74 is expected to feature rear-wheel drive—a bold move at a time when all-wheel drive is becoming the standard for high-performance electric vehicles. Its exclusivity will be underscored by a limited production run of just 200 units, with a starting price of approximately 500 million KRW (over 2.5 million RMB), positioning it as a premium offering.
